Tumultuous Times for American Surveyor and an Inclinometer for just 99 Cents

It is no secret that American surveyors are experiencing some tumultuous times right now. A fellow Land Surveyors United member and friend, Eric Colburn PLS points to an article from American Surveyor Magazine entitled Tumultuous Times by our buddy Marc Cheves which is very relevant and free to download. On American Surveyor blog, the author also brings our attention to an inclinometer for a mere 99 cents (provide you have the new iPhone G3) which you can purchase here. Here’s a little more about the inclinometer from Amerisurv Blog:

It will transform your iPhone into both a level bubble and an inclinometer. For those of you who aren’t a surveyor or someone who needs to determine tilt (such as a geologist), once installed you can use it for hanging pictures or anywhere you’d need to level something. You can control the background color and even calibrate the device.
